Product Information
Made from stretchy 3mm 85% natural rubber/15% synthetic rubber by polymer content, our R3 Yulex Insertable Hood offers supplemental warmth for your head and neck, keeping you comfortable in colder conditions while wearing a lighter-weight suit. Lined on the interior with warm, fast-drying 95% polyester (51% recycled)/5% spandex inverted microgrid and on the exterior with 88% recycled polyester/12% spandex, the contoured three-panel construction conforms to the head for comfort while an adjustable cord provides a snug fit around the face. The 1.5mm neck bib tucks into your suit to prevent flushing, and the Supratex brim shields your face from rain or sun. Seams are internally taped to prevent leakage. The natural rubber content is derived from sources that are Forest Stewardship Council certified by the Rainforest Alliance. The interior lining and exterior fabric are solution-dyed - using 86% less water than conventional dyeing - and laminated with water-based AquaA glue that's free from harmful volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Made in a Fair Trade Certified facility. Suggested water temperatures: 48 - 55 degrees F/9 - 13 degrees C.
